Meet your group facilitator, Nancy Nixon. Nancy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Portland, Oregon. She lived in Hawaii for 20 years and received her master's degree in social work from the University of Hawaii.
It was during these years that Nancy fell in love with the beauty and mystical quality of the Hawaiin islands. She moved to Portland in 1992 but continues to maintain a home in Lanikai. She returns to Hawaii to nurture her own spirit on a regular basis.
In Portland, Nancy has a counseling practice where she counsels individuals, couples and groups. She also has special training in trauma intervention and works with companies that have experienced traumatic events within their work environments.
Nancy also facilitates women’s groups. She especially loves sharing the beauty of Hawaii with other women. Within these small, supportive groups, she creates a safe space for women to be together and develop their inner strength, courage and sacredness.
If you have any questions about the Hawaii wellness retreat, please call Nancy at 503.224.9242 or send an email to NCNixon@aol.com.
